Welcome!

With less than 3 weeks to go, I'm using this opportunity to make a start on what (hopefully) will be a documented transformation of this little miners cottage. Into what? Well, a home, and a lifestyle. We have so many ideas about what we want to do, like:

• Create a permaculture garden
• Grow as much of our own food as we can
• Keep chooks
• Collect rainwater
• Produce some electricity

The only photos I have are taken by the real estate agent. Since we currently live so far away, we haven't had the opportunity to take any more yet. It'll be the first thing I do though! So.. consider these photos "before".









We're both looking forward to moving in and getting started on our ideas. Sometimes its difficult to know where to start, but I guess we'll just take one day at a time and see how it goes. In the meantime, we have plenty of packing and organising to do.
