Now, according to Marty, when I saw this little thing run from under the kitchen table towards the fridge, I hoisted my skirt and jumped up and down! I do remember screaming, and I admit, I did climb onto the kitchen chair. Oh the embarrassment!
We captured it using a container on it's side, up against the wall. Standing on the kitchen chair still, I tipped the fridge, and Marty made sure the thing didn't run the wrong way. Thankfully the plan worked and the mouse ran straight into the container, and we could take it outside for a closer look.
Hmm, it isn't so scary close-up. Really quite cute.
We both caved-in and decided this little mouse could have a second chance - although, far away, on the opposite side of the railway line. ;)
Aw, You have your very own Mickey Mouse. I had one a couple winters ago. It was so cute I thought about letting it hang around. Then I discovered the mess in the kitchen drawers etc. I was not so kind though. I set a trap and no more Mickey. :(
