Marty's Feijoa
Marty planted his Birthday present today. He found the feijoa fruit on the way to the shops, and loved it's sweet taste - I just had to get him one of his own. :)
It'll grow to be a large shrub / small tree and seems to produce fruit Autumn/Winter. (The one on the way to the shops is still dropping fruit now.)

Hi Marty, Everyone here in Michigan still thinks of you too. I hope your birthday tree produces fruit for you soon. Is it like an apple?
ReplyDeleteHi Mom, it's a fruit that looks a little like a squished kiwi fruit (inside and out), but tastes like something in-between strawberries and pineapple. Very sweet.
