The loungeroom got a little plastering on the part I showed you previously.
It looked nicer before I "keyed" it, but it had to be done to make the second layer of plaster easier to stick to that first layer.
Remember the strawbale course we took early last year? It turns out the plastering we did then with mud was really quite similar to plastering lime render. A couple of things we learned at the course was: don't bother with wooden trowels and, it takes a lot of strength to plaster. So far, both bits of information have come in handy. :) I'm quite worn out after only that little bit!
