Making a floor!

We were ready for him this time! We woke up early and our builder arrived shortly after breakfast. We worked hard most of the day, only being held up by the local hardware store deliverie times and their mistakes. Oh well.. the end result is..



Almost a floor!



The green stuff is insulation. It's almost unbelievable that it's taken such a short amount of time to get this far. Plus, I knew it would happen.. but we're both saying to ourselves "See, it wasn't really that hard after all!" and "Why did it take us so long..?"

Infact.. we're even considering doing the same thing in the front two rooms once these two are finished. (But, I really do mean finished. Totally. Absolutely. Finished!) And it really shouldn't take us.. uhh.. oh dear..

More than 2 years and 8 months!!

Well.. That's truly embarrassing!

On the plus side.. the builder is returning again tomorrow. Walking in those two rooms may be possible by the time I next update you! :)
