We now have a bag of Ruby Lou and a bag of Saphire potatoes!
Ruby Lou looked like a good "all rounder" - fine for just about anything we use potato for.
Saphire is a purple spud that keeps its colour even after its cooked! I love everything purple, so I just had to. ;) Although after finding this picture, I'm beginning to wonder "What have I done?!?!"
Today is a nice rainy day (7.8 Celsius / 46.04 Fahrenheit), but it isn't going to stop me getting these spuds planted! I can't wait!!
Boy, can you tell I really like my taters??
