Good weekend

Marty was able to visit this weekend - even though it was for less than 20 hours, it was worth it. Here's us, just before we ran out the door to meet the bus back to Adelaide. We were late, but thankfully the bus driver was held up a few minutes!

Mum visited this weekend also, bringing with her 1000 worms and a mini greenhouse. I haven't done anything with the worms as yet - but I set up the greenhouse. It's quite cute, and fits all the seedlings I have.

On a personal note, I've become a bit ill, so I apologise in advance for the lack of blog posts. I'll be better real soon though. :)

Next weekend is the weekend Marty comes home for good - and we're both counting down the days. It's been a tough month so far, but it's nearly over, then the fun will really begin. :)

  1. Hi Marty & Manda,

I truly enjoy reading about the two of you and the cottage! I just found out how to write comments yesterday (duh)...so thought I would leave one.

Manda you make me tired just reading about everything you are doing, I don't know how you are able to do it all and still find the time to keep up with this site. Three cheers for you!!! You do such a great job at writing...perhaps in your spare time (lol) you could start a book...or turn this into one!

This picture of the two of you is adorable. I always say the two of you are perfect for each other and it shows. It's nice to see both of you looking so happy.

Marty, I am thrilled that you will be able to stay home as of next weekend, as I'm sure you are too. I know it has been tough for the two of you to be separated so much, especially with the excitement of the cottage. It couldn't have landed in better hands.

I am at your Mom's...came over on Weds and leaving tomorrow. Charley girl is so much calmer than she was at my last visit. Thank goodness for your Mom's sake, lol. She's cute as a button and very smart.

Lots of love to both of you,
    Aunt Debbie

The little green house is cute. It looks to be just the right size.

I hope you feel better soon Manda.

    Love to you both, Mom

  3. Hey, that would be a good picture except it shows Marty's face (ha ha). Just kidding. Good to see the both of you looking so happy and that you're getting the house and garden set-up the way you want.
