Pumpkin patch

I've been forgetting to show off our new garden bed. Again, we used roof tiles to make the border - it took quite a long time to dig the trench for them because the soil was almost pure clay in areas, and very rocky in others. We then filled the bed with pure horse manure. It's a strong mix in this one, because we're not planning on using the bed until spring, when we can plant some pumpkins and maybe marrow in there. I hope they like it!

The straw on top is to (hopefully) keep the weeds at bay. They're growing like mad at the moment, and the less weeding we can do, the better! :)

Until next time!
